….I’ve always enjoyed Alice in Wonderland…this is the year that I create my own pages of the classic.
a planning day…
so…today is a planning day…sitting in my beanbag chair in the sunny upstairs room…it’s just me and the wiener dog Rhoda……so…I’m planning a new book character, hopefully a bunch of painting ideas with colour choices for my studio tour this year. I’m totally out of paintings. First time ever. So it’s a clean plate I can paint whatever I wish…try some new things…get a little bit more whimsy. That’s my challenge for today is to get more whimsy…I’ve been a bit tight lately and not as much fun….so today is the day to get crazy funny. Crazy funny!
it’s just the best thingy…
I truly love what I do….this week I signed a contract with a Canadian book publisher and I’m so terribly excited about it! It’s been quite a week…before the book contract I signed a contract to license 30 of my images. My dream! All this with a crooked, broken, half working, monster, beast of a computer. So now I’m working on my new, brand spanking, lovely, scrumptious, pretty new computer that’s a fast as lightning! Oh…gotta love a new computer!
