Jan is an internationally published illustrator. The whimsicalness in her drawings and her use of bright colour stem from her love of animation and children’s literature. Her illustrations can be found in picture books, iOS apps, websites, wall art, posters, newsletters and more.

Born in St. John’s Newfoundland and raised in Ontario, Jan studied Fine Art and Business at The University of Guelph. Her studio, The Pink Suitcase, is located north of Toronto in the Town of Stouffville where she lives with her husband, two teenagers and wiener dog Margaret.
